Mined or Lab-Grown?
If choosing a diamond wasn’t complicated enough, you now have the additional choice of opting for a traditional mined diamond, or a diamond grown in a laboratory.
It is a fiercely contended topic in the jewellery industry, but with influential brands like Boodles, Tiffany and DeBeers having recently launched their own man-made collections, lab-grown diamonds are going nowhere.

There is no right or wrong, the decision has to be yours. The best advice we ever heard, was spend enough so that it hurts a little. Stretch yourself, but not too much. And once you have a budget in mind, stick to it. Here at Christopher Stoner, typically we create bespoke engagement rings from around £5,000 to £20,000

Once you have approved your design and given us the go-ahead, it takes around 6-8 weeks to create your unique engagement ring for you.

If you can, take a ring she already wears and take a photograph of it next to a ruler. Or measure the internal diameter of the ring. An experienced jeweller will be able to calculate her finger size from this method. Here at Christopher Stoner, if the size is not 100% perfect once you have presented your ring, then we will re-size it for you free of charge.

No. We only embark on the design journey with you if we feel we are a good fit for you and your vision.
Only once you have approved your design do we for a deposit with the balance payable on completion.
